Everyone Deserves A Byte (EDAB) is a social entrepreneurial venture established in June 2014, that aims to provide underprivileged children with the technological skills necessary for success in today's world. By means of an educational software known as Tynker we attempt to expose children from lower income neighborhoods to computer programming and thus bridge the "digital divide".
This digital divide is the result of disparity between the exposure of the privileged and the less so to technology at a young age. We believe that by exposing underprivileged children to computer science at a young age this gap can be easily bridged, providing everyone with the tools for success regardless of financial status.
In order to aid in the spreading of knowledge we encourage each and everyone of you to participate in our program. You may do this by using our website to sponsor a school, organization or student that needs Tynker and is unable to pay for it. Our partnership with Tynker allows us to directly connect the sponsor with the recipient in need, enabling us to pass on knowledge in a efficient manner.
